Santa Train

We spent the day with friends and traveled on the Santa Train to see "Santa!" (of course) The kids had a lot of fun playing with their friends, riding on the train, playing around the trains, eating cookies, and seeing Santa. Cameron asked Santa for Optimus Prime (transformer), Bubmblebee transformer, and these crazy penguins from a store in Snohomish. When Carter was asked he said "ummmmm" and then said "Boo" after we left Santa's lap. Boo is actually Boog from the Movie "Open Season". Carter doesn't watch much t.v. but he is obsessed with this Boog character. Hopefully Santa can find and deliver these much needed toys.

Santa and his helpers gave the boys a caboose, so we came home and painted the caboose. Now we are letting them dry, but the boys keep checking to see if they are ready for wheels.

We also went and had lunch at a Mexican restaurant nearby. When they saw all the kids in our group they gave us our own private room. It was perfect! The kids played hide and seek while we all chatted. It was the best restaurant experience ever!

This felt like the first official day of the holiday season! Our next stop is the Christmas tree!

Well, I am not sure why I have been off of my blog page recently. I guess life has been sooo busy and my ideas of simplifying our life included cutting out our blog page. I will try to be better at posting pictures and include this blog back into my schedule.

Here are a few highlights of the past month. This is one of the Endelman Llamas.

Carter loves this hat that his brother bought for him at the circus. Crazy kid!

Fun on the trampline.

I am sure Cameron will never want to be a cute halloween character again.

My mom was also in the Halloween spirit and came as the witch from Hansel and Gretal. None of the kids had heard of that story. I guess we are all getting a little old.

Motorhome

Does anyone want to rent our beloved motorhome?

We lost our motorhome, Norm, a few weeks ago due to an unexplained fire. The fire was extremely hot and burnt everything. We had many fun memories with Norm, but will now be asking for a tent for Christmas.

Here are a few pictures from the past weekend. I walked 6o miles for breast cancer! It was an amazing experience and I look forward to do it again next year. It isn't easy walking 60 miles or raising $2300, but it was so worth the work. I hope to get a few more members to add to the team next year. Let me know if you are intereted!

Nice picture of me! I am genetically picture challenged. This is what we looked like after 60 miles!

This "Tit Stop" was on top of Capital Hill. There were so many supporters along the way, and Capital Hill was especially excited to cheer us on.

I got to carry the flag for a few miles.

Here is camp! There were over 1000 tents! It was amazing!

This is the first day at 21 miles! The sign says 1 mile left, but we actually had 2!

Children's Museum

We had a great day at the Children's Museum with the Auckland Family.
Andrew in the Fire Engine.
The kids playing in the city bus.

Carter loved the drum.

Cameron looked so much like his daddy when he was playing with this toy.

Fishing

Cameron recently snagged his first fish. He likes to say it was a marlin, but I am sad to say it looks more like a perch. Bryan plans on taking him Salmon fishing this weekend. Hopefully he will catch something we can keep.

Secret Place

I have discovered a very special place by my home that many people have yet to discover. The beach is comparable to a Washington Coast ocean beach, and the trail makes you feel like you are in a different land. Usually we share this place with only a few other families at a time and everyone can have their own special place. At low tide you can walk way out and play in the little pools that have formed in the sand(Today was low tide day). At high tide you can play on the driftwood and build forts. When the tide is exactly in the middle you can wade out about 200 yards before the water gets deep. The boys and I have been spending a lot of time here the past few weeks. I like to call it my secret place and I hope others do not discover it.

Today we shared our place with Rachel, Thomas, Anne, Andrew and Kate. We had a lot of fun with our friends.

We would love to share our place with others, but you must promise not let our secret out. Call us to make a playdate and we will take you on an adventure that is close to our home.

Bear Lake

We decided to have an adventure this weekend and took the boys on their first backpacking trip. Bryan became a Sherpa and hiked 4 sleeping bags, 4 sleeping mats , a tent, clothes and food up to Bear Lake (I had Carter and a few other items.). It is a 2 mile hike that we read about in our Hiking With Children book. Cameron was a great hiker and also carried a pack. We also made our dog, Jelly, carry a pack. She was in charge of poopy diapers. Our adventure was successful! We only had a slight thunder storm, but other than that things went quite smoothly. Oh, the bugs were really bad but we found creative ways to swish them away.
Our group: The Endelmans, Underwoods and Johnsons
(The Connors hiked in with us but left before dinner.)

Daddy's In Charge

Bryan was in charge of the boys this morning while I took a shower and shaved my legs. I rarely get to do this event on my own, so I was looking forward to my few moments of peace. Bryan decided to give the boys a bath. Carter was the first one out, so Bryan dressed him and then went to go and get clothes for Cameron. While he was getting Cameron's clothes the little guy jumped back into the tub. I guess he felt he was still dirty! Poor Bryan!

Pierce Lakehouse

We spent a few days at the Pierce's Lakehouse on Summit Lake this week. We had a lot of fun playing in the water and hiking. Here are a few pictures of our mini vacation.

Intense Ride!

Bryan is in a Sumo Suit! I think it is a suicide suit, but of course bryan loves to be dragged behind the boat.

This old lady still has what it takes.

My handsome boys.
